Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone using piletikohver.eu — both organisers and ticket buyers. The site is operated by Kakuweb OÜ. By using the site you confirm that you have read these terms.

1. What Piletikohver is and is not

Piletikohver is a technical platform where an event organiser can create an event page, issue tickets and check people in. We intermediate the ticket, but we do not organise any event ourselves.

The contract about the event itself — that it takes place, its content, time and location — is between the buyer and the organiser. Piletikohver is not a party to it and is not liable for the event.

2. Accounts and organiser obligations

Creating an organiser account requires truthful details: the organiser's name and a working contact address. Keeping the account details and password safe is the user's own responsibility.

As an organiser you undertake to:

  • publish correct information about the event — time, place, content, price and number of tickets
  • answer ticket buyers' enquiries within a reasonable time
  • comply with the laws applying to your activity, including consumer protection and data protection
  • handle refunds and cancellations according to your own published terms
  • not use the platform to distribute prohibited, misleading or infringing content

3. The ticket and its validity

Every ticket carries a unique QR code. A ticket is valid for one entry and counts as used from the moment door staff scan it.

A ticket code is a bearer instrument: whoever shows the code gets in. Keep it as you would keep cash — a QR code shared publicly can be used by somebody else, and we cannot compensate that loss.

If the organiser has made the ticket personal, an identity document may be requested at the door.

4. Prices and payment

The ticket price is set by the organiser and is the final price shown on the event page.

The platform does not currently include online payments. Free and registration tickets are issued immediately after the form is confirmed. For paid tickets, the buyer and the organiser agree the payment method and deadline between themselves; the organiser may cancel an unpaid ticket.

When a payment solution is added, we will announce it and update these terms before it goes live.

5. Refunds and cancelled events

Piletikohver does not refund tickets or transfer money itself. Refund terms are set by the organiser and shown on the event page.

If an event is cancelled or postponed, the organiser notifies ticket holders at the address given when buying. Refunds are arranged by the organiser.

A consumer's right of withdrawal generally does not extend to leisure services provided on a specific date (Estonian Law of Obligations Act § 53(4)(7)). Organisers may offer more generous terms.

6. Buyer obligations

  • give a correct email address when buying — the ticket goes to that address
  • check before confirming that the event, date and ticket type are the ones you want
  • do not copy, forge or resell a ticket in a way that conflicts with the organiser's terms
  • follow the rules of the organiser and the venue while at the event

7. Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site running without interruption, but we do not guarantee continuous availability. Maintenance, faults and third-party outages may make the site temporarily unreachable.

If ticket sales are interrupted by a technical fault, tell us — no event should fail because of software.

8. Liability

Piletikohver is responsible for its own service working. We are not liable for the content, quality, occurrence or cancellation of an event, nor for the financial settlement between organiser and buyer.

Our liability is in any case limited to the amount the user has paid for using the platform during the preceding twelve months.

Nothing in this section limits liability for intentionally caused damage or a consumer's statutory rights.

9. Intellectual property

The platform software, design and trade mark belong to Kakuweb OÜ.

Event titles, descriptions, images and other content uploaded by an organiser remain the organiser's. The organiser grants us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform, to show it to search engines and to use it when presenting the service.

10. Closing an account

A user may close their account at any time by writing to us. Before closing, upcoming events must be completed or ticket holders notified.

We may suspend or close an account if the platform is used unlawfully, misleadingly or to the detriment of other users. Where possible we warn in advance.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the service changes or the law requires it. Changes are published on this page with a new date. Organisers are notified of significant changes by email.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law. We try to resolve disputes by negotiation.

If no agreement is reached, a consumer may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, tarbijakaitse.ee) or to a court. Disputes between businesses are settled at Harju County Court.

13. Contact

The platform is operated by Kakuweb OÜ, registry code 17474848, Kaku, Mõhküla, Põltsamaa vald, Jõgeva maakond 48013.
