Help and common questions

Answers to the questions we get most often about buying, receiving and using a ticket. If yours is not here, write to us — we reply on working days.

Buying a ticket

Do I need an account to buy a ticket?

No. Pick a ticket, enter your name and email address and confirm. An account is only needed by organisers who create events.

How do I know the purchase went through?

The order page with your QR code opens immediately after you confirm, and the same information is sent to your email. If you can see the order page, your ticket exists even if the email is delayed.

Can I buy several tickets at once?

Yes. Choose the quantity next to each ticket type. The organiser may have set a limit per order — the form tells you right away if you reach it.

I have a discount code, where does it go?

There is a field for it next to the order summary. Enter the code and press the check button — the discount is deducted before you confirm.

Can I pay by card?

Online payments are not available yet. Free and registration tickets are issued immediately; for paid tickets you settle with the event organiser, whose contact details are on the event page and in the ticket email.

Why did my seat disappear?

For events with numbered seats, the seat goes to whoever confirms first. If someone was quicker, the form says so and you can pick another seat straight away.

Your ticket and the door

Where is my ticket?

Your ticket is in the email both as a QR code and as a PDF attachment, and it is always available online behind the order link. You can have that link sent again from the “Find your tickets” page.

The email never arrived. What now?

Check your spam folder first. If it is not there, open “Find your tickets”, enter the same address you used to buy, and we will resend the links to all your orders.

Do I have to print the ticket?

No. A QR code on your phone screen works just as well. If your screen is broken or the battery is dead, the short code on the ticket can be typed in by the door staff.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Yes, unless the organiser made the ticket personal. Just forward the PDF or the link. For personalised tickets, ask the organiser whether the name can be changed.

What happens if the same QR code is shown twice?

The scanning device warns that the ticket has already been used and shows when. Two people cannot get in on one ticket.

Does door scanning work without internet?

Yes. The organiser can download the ticket list to the device and check tickets even with no signal in the venue. Check-ins are uploaded once the connection is back.

Changes and refunds

The event was cancelled. What happens to my ticket?

If an event is cancelled, the organiser contacts you at the address you used to buy. Refunds and replacement dates are decided by the organiser, who is the contracting party.

Can I return a ticket if my plans changed?

Piletikohver does not refund tickets itself. Refund terms are set by the organiser and are shown on the event page. Write to them directly — the contact is on the event page and in the ticket email.

The organiser cancelled my ticket. Why?

An organiser may cancel a ticket, for example when the order was a mistake or was never paid for. You receive an email with the reason. If it looks like an error, reply to that email.

Can I change my details on the order?

Names and attendee details can be changed by the organiser. Write to them and say what should change. If the email address changes, the organiser resends the ticket to the new address.

Gift cards

How does a gift card work?

A gift card has a code and a monetary value. The recipient enters the code during checkout and the amount is deducted from the order. Any remaining balance stays on the card and can be used for further purchases.

Is a gift card valid for every event?

A gift card is valid for events by the organiser who issued it. The card page states whose gift card it is.

How long is a gift card valid?

The validity date is written on the card itself. If there is no date, the card stays valid until the issuer invalidates it.

I lost the gift card code. Can it be recovered?

Yes. Write to the issuing organiser from the address the card was bought with and they will resend the code.

Didn't find an answer?

If your question is about a specific event — timing, content, refunds or seats — the organiser can answer best, and their contact is on the event page. If it concerns the platform itself, write to us.
